छोटी सी उम्र से ही साध्वी जया किशोरी काफी चर्चित कथावाचक रही हैं.असल जिंदगी के अलावा भी सोशल मीडिया पर उनकी फैन फॉलोविंग काफी ज्यादा है. वह कथा भागवत के साथ ही अपने भजनों के लिए फेमस हैं. साध्वी जया भक्ति में लीन होने के साथ-साथ ग्रेजुयेट भी हैं. महज 7 साल की उम्र से ही उन्होंने भजन गाना शुरू कर दिया था.

एक इंटरव्यू में उनसे शादी को लेकर सवाल किया गया था. जहां उन्होंने कहा था कि 'मैं संत नहीं हूं, मैं शादी करना चाहती हूं.' उन्होंने कहा था कि मैं एक साधारण लड़की हूं और मैं भी अन्य लड़कियों की तरह शादी करना चाहती हूं. लेकिन उसमें अभी समय है. साध्वी ने बताया कि जिस तरह बाकी लड़कियां सामान्य जीवन जीती हैं, मैं भी वैसा ही जीवन जीती हूं. उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि वह कभी भी प्रभु की भक्ति नहीं छोड़ेंगी.
